Located in a vibrant community, the kindergarten project presented a unique opportunity to create a playful and engaging learning environment for young children. Our architecture firm was tasked with designing a space that would not only meet the functional requirements of a kindergarten but also inspire and captivate the imagination of its little users. The result is a series of playful boxes interconnected to create a whimsical and stimulating space.

Задача
The main challenge of this project was to strike a balance between creating a fun and playful atmosphere while ensuring that the design met all the necessary norms and regulations for educational facilities. Additionally, we wanted to emphasize the connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces, providing ample opportunities for children to explore and interact with their surroundings. The integration of natural light and the incorporation of the surrounding landscape into the design were also key considerations.
Pathmark quickly began to expand, opening new stores throughout the New York metropolitan area.

Our team of architects and designers approached this project with a child's sense of wonder and playfulness in mind. We created a series of interconnected boxes, each with its own unique character and purpose. These boxes provide a variety of learning and play areas, encouraging children to explore and engage in different activities. Large glass windows and doors invite natural light and offer stunning views of the outdoor space, blurring the boundaries between inside and outside.
The floor plan was carefully designed to optimize functionality, ensuring a seamless flow between the different areas of the kindergarten. We incorporated ample storage space, multipurpose rooms, and flexible learning environments to accommodate a range of educational needs. By working closely with educators and child development experts, we were able to create a space that not only met but exceeded the requirements for early childhood education.

Pathmark was a regional supermarket chain based in New Jersey that operated from 1968 until 2015, when the company was acquired by fellow regional grocery chain A&P.
